The Oslo accord is null
and void! - A scathing indictment of the world nations at large! r11
The
Arab-Palestinians Charter explicitly states that they want the State of Israel
for themselves and the Jewish people destroyed.
The Arab-Palestinians actions to date has proven that they do not want peace. Why is the liberal left and many of the world nations are fantasizing and deluding themselves that the Arabs want peace.
People of the world wake up and realize what is their ultimate mission, eliminate the unbelievers. The Arabs promote and indoctrinate the children to commit terror and violence.
The Arabs never
intended to abide by the Accord, or any other agreements with Israel for that matter. It was only a means to
take control of territory and eventually take over all of Israel and expel and kill the Jews again, and
they do not hide their intentions.
No Democratic
country in the world would tolerate the terror violence and mayhem being
committed in Israel by the Arabs. Any country that does not
take extreme actions to stop this terror and violence is shirking its
responsibility and obligation to its citizens and should be replaced.
Just like Abbas
statement this week. It is time for formally announcing that the Oslo Accord is
null and void and institute a population exchange. Moving the Arabs to Jordan and or the 120,000 sq. km. the Arab
countries confiscated from the terrorized and expelled million Jewish families.
Thus, take back complete control of Judea and Samaria and everything west of
the Jordan River as decreed by post WWI international law and treaties,
including the January 1919 Faisal Weizmann Agreement.
If the world at large does not wake up now they will be next. It already has started, take off the blinders, open you eyes and look around. The current refugee problem from

Most of the expelled Jewish families settled inIsrael and now comprise over half the population.

Today and since
1948. Israel is being threatened with annihilation and
when Israel defends itself from destruction, terror,
suicide bombers, thousands of missiles, violence, etc, by the Arabs, every
country has something to say, threaten Israel and meddle in its internal business.
This is the time when nations of the world must mind their own business and stay out ofIsrael ’s internal affairs. Only then there will
be a possibility of peace.

If you feel it is moral to express your sympathy for those Arabs who colonized and occupy all but a sliver of land in the Middle East, those who stone women to death, execute gays and rape little children? Those who kill people indiscriminately, suicide bombers, teach hate and violence to their children! If you believe that making Judaism illegal in every Arab country is OK? Really? The Arabs have also forced most Christians out of their countries. You leave me no choice then, but to assess you moral indignation as meaningless lawless revolting and vile. I laugh in astonishment at what hypocrites and naked bigots you are.

Read the contents of the 1920 Supreme Allied Powers when they set-up Mesopotamia, Syria and others as Arab states, while assigning in 1920 the British as Trustee for the Jews to bring in more Jews to Palestine and set-up the Jewish State. But the British wanted control of the Arab oil and therefore they violated the terms of the treaty and the Mandate for Jewish Palestine and also violated their fiduciary obligation, thus gave away 78% of Jewish territory for a new Arab state east of the Jordan River as Transjordan now Jordan. The British again violated international law by restricting Jewish immigration to Palestine aka Israel from 1939 to 1948, that caused the deaths of millions of Jews trying to escape German Nazi extermination camps. The British went as far as blowing up Jewish Holocaust refugee Ships bound for Israel under operation Embarrass.

It does not have to. Check with international judges and lawyers. When the UN passes a recommended resolution to be accepted by the parties, If one party accepts it and the other does not, it in not valid and meaningless. A resolutions to be valid must be accepted by all parties or it is null and void.
I urge many of you commentators to be very careful what you say. I have been to Jerusalem and was involved in business dealing there for over a year.
When you are an outsider and you have not experienced the day to day of living in Israel with neighboring countries trying to destroy you. Launching rockers, terrorist acts, suicide bombing etc. I was there when some of my workers got blown-up in a suicide bombing in Jerusalem on a local Bus on Jaffa road. I also have family that immigrated to Israel from Yemen in 1882..
Moreover, I have family tree that goes back to the destruction of the Temple by the Romans and they are from the tribe of Judah.
What everyone has to remember is that without the state of Israel how in the world is the Muslim, and especially the Arab populations, going to explain to their third world, semi-illiterate, backward, medieval like peoples that their condition in life is a result of their actions (and inactions). Israel serves a very useful purpose as a distraction from reality for the losers of this world. Oh, and why did the Europeans not lift a finger to help the Jews during the 2nd WW? If a people that makes up less than half of 1% of the world’s total population wins almost half the Nobel Prizes for science and medicine (not counting all the other contributions), I’m sure you will be hateful as well.

Israel’s Safety and Security at all costs
ReplyDeleteThe State of Israel must always keep in mind its own sovereign obligations and be careful not to risk its capacity to perform the vital task of defending itself, its people, and its interests. Israel even under the most adverse conditions, it shall not capitulate to world pressure whereby its citizen’s safety and security is compromised. Israel must expel all Arabs who conduct and incite terror and violence, zero tolerance.
Israel has faced over 21,980 terror attacks since September 2000, when a wave of terror started against Israeli citizen’s right after Arafat was offered an independent Palestinian state.
To date Israel’s concessions and appeasement to the Arabs has decreased the safety and security of Israel’s population. It is time to change direction and not worry about world opinion. Do not wait for the world at large to condemn these terrorist attacks, they did not care in the past when Jewish blood was spilled and they do not care now. The security and safety of the people of Israel must be first and foremost above any other consideration. That is the duty and obligation of a responsible government. Deliberating at time of National crisis without a previous set plan borders on dereliction of duty, based on Israel’s experience with terror, they should know better. Meanwhile, Israelis are being killed and injured on a daily basis throughout Israel, the people in Israel feel unsafe and the economy is suffering. Get your act together, act immediately and forcefully with no compromise, now the only way; it has to be Israel’s way or the highway. Any delay in implementation will increase terror and violence and escalate the death and injury of Jewish lives in Israel. Israel must face the bold facts. The Arabs do not want peace, they never did, they only want the destruction of Israel, Israel must act accordingly with no illusion and fantasy or false promises that the Arabs are partners for peace, it is perfectly clear that they are not.
The Arabs educate and train their children to commit terror and violence, celebrate and glorify suicide bombers, Need I say anymore. Stop bickering among yourselves, unify, and face the enemy with vigor and determination and do not stop until the enemy is totally vanquished and peace and tranquility returns to Israel.

It is harder to make peace than war!
ReplyDeleteWhen I was in Israel supervising the building of the hotel across from Jerusalem's Jaffa gate in 1995. The Oslo agreement was implemented. There was euphoria in the air. Many companies and individuals were talking and ready to invest billions of dollars. I myself contacted some investors to invest in building an automobile manufacturing plant which would create jobs and have a locally manufactured automobile at a much more reasonable price. All that faded as soon as the suicide bombers started blowing up busses on Jaffa road in Jerusalem. Talking peace, signing peace agreements and living in peace and coexistence are two different things. There are external powers that do not want peace in Israel. That has been going on since the end of WWI. If you know, or anybody knows a way how to overcome it and bring peace and coexistence in Israel, I would love to promote it. It is unfortunate, that you have the Arab leadership for the past 3 generations promoting terror and violence and educating their children and the masses to commit terror and violence, while celebrating terror attacks and financing terrorists. You are banging your head against the wall. It has to start with a change in the mindset and the education of the children and the masses to live in peace.
The Arabs have to prove that they truly want peace. Israel will need to see years of non-violence and peaceful coexistence, prior to resuming peace talks. Furthermore, the world at large must stay out of it, let the Israelis and Arabs work it out without external involvement. Then you night have a chance for coexistence.

Jewish roots and rights to all the land of Greater Israel are stronger than ever!
"If I am turned out of hearth and home and remain outside one night, I am legally entitled to return the following day. If I suffer for ten, twenty, five thousand or fifty thousand nights, does my right of return stand in inverse relationship to the length of my exile? Quite the contrary; my right to return and recover my freedom becomes stronger in direct proportion to what I have endured, not by virtue of some abstract arithmetic, but because of the nights spent in exile, and because I want my children, to be spared a similar experience."

Islamic disinformation, deception and intentional lies are permitted and in fact promoted under the Muslim Qur’an and Sharia law.
ReplyDeleteTherefore, we should be suspect of any and all information coming out of any Arab-Muslim sources. All statements by Arab-Muslims must be held suspect until thoroughly verified.
Deception, fraud and gross exaggeration are a way of life for the Muslims. Promises are not kept. Terror and violence is a fundamental premise. Their leaders subjugate the masses by inciting them against non-Muslims, and even against their own Muslim people.
In the past 1500 years the Muslims have eliminated over a half a billion people and the death toll is increasing daily. Muslim promoting, financing and supporting terrorism is endangering the safety and security of the entire world. Muslims at large bring instability and insecurity to the non-Muslim people in the world. Over 90% of world conflicts today involve Muslims.
The Muslims promote death and destruction and destroy any remnants of previous history which factually disproves their false teachings, and which contradicts their beliefs and agenda.
When will the world-at-large wake-up and realize that all non-Muslims are in danger of losing life and liberty if we do not take immediate, proactive action to stem, and eliminate the growing terror and violence?
A unified world with allied forces implementing full intelligence gathering and sharing, and security cooperation must be set-up to confront and end the unbridled Muslim terror and violent, genocidal Muslim activities.
If the silent Muslim majority does not act to curb the extreme, radical Muslim agenda, they must be considered as complicit in all of the extreme Muslim activities; and thus, be held accountable. Fundamental “Common Law” dictates such “complicity” as guilt.
The Media, which is always looking for sensationalism is only adding fuel to the fire, and is in fact accelerating the increase of terror and violence. Any media found guilty of such incitement should be held accountable.
Muslim extremism has constantly made known its’ intent to kill, and subjugate all “non-believers”. World domination is the goal of Muslim extremism. As such, it is time for the world to unite, and finally put an end to this insidious nemesis once and for all. To do otherwise is to simply kneel and wait for the Muslim sword to fall and to behead us all.

After years of Arab deception, to believe peace is possible is a delusion, and another mistake.
ReplyDeleteThe Arabs have a state, which is Jordan. Jordan illegally occupied and confiscated about 80% of the land allocated to Jews under international law and treaties of post WWI. The Arabs also have over 75,000 square miles of land (which is 6 times the size of Israel) which the Arab countries illegally confiscated from the million expelled Jewish families.
It is time to take another approach. Forego all peace talks until the Arabs can prove they can control their population and live with the Jews in peaceful coexistence for at least 5 years. Furthermore, Arabs must eliminate the education of its people to commit terror and violence; replacing it with education and practice of living in harmony and coexistence. Nothing less will be accepted. It is not negotiable.
The Temple Mount in Jerusalem is Jewish territory for over two millennium and has been since prior to the building of the two Jewish temples. It is a historical fact that King David of Israel paid the Jebusites money to purchase that property, in order to avoid conflict. Israel, after liberating Jerusalem and Temple Mount, the holiest site in Judaism in 1967, Israel graciously permitted the Arabs to continue to pray at Temple Mount.
ReplyDeleteThe time has come to terminate said arrangement. Jewish worshippers have suffered years of abuse by Arabs committing unwarranted acts of violence on a consistent basis. Israel has the right, duty and obligation to revoke the unappreciated privilege formally granted. It is the Arab s who are defiling The Jewish "Holy of Holies".
It is time for Israel to take back Jewish its sacred ground, which is the holiest site in Judaism, once and for all.
I am sure Arab-s would not permit anyone in the world to build and control the holy Site in Mecca. Let the Arabs have Mecca, and the Judeo-Christian people have Jerusalem and the Temple Mount.

It is time to evict all Arabs in Greater Israel who create terror, violence, riot and attack Jews.
ReplyDeleteA Jewish person and any other person in Jerusalem and the rest of Greater Israel; has the right to live and walk in his own country in peace and tranquility without fear or intimidation.
I suggest a massive demonstration by Israelis, demanding the government to restore peace without fear or intimidation at all costs or be replaced – the current situation cannot and must not continue. The government of Israel must ignore world opinion and the Media; they will criticize and defame Israel no matter what.
Eventually the world at large respects a government that protects its people.
According to International Law All Jews have the right to live in any area of the original 1920 Mandate for Palestine (75,000 square miles) and its adoption in perpetuity by the “League of Nations”?
It is interesting to note that the World at large is not questioning the State of Jordan and its territory, which has taken 78% from the allocation to Jewish land. Jordan is a State that has never existed in history prior to WW1. But Israel that has existed on its land for over 3500 years which included “The land Jordan occupies”, they are questioning Israel’s land. They do not mention that The Arabs received over 5 million square miles of territory and that the Arabs terrorized and expelled over a million Jewish families and their children, including the confiscated of all their assets, homes, businesses and Real estate 120,440 sq, km. or 75,000 sq. miles (6 times the size of Israel, valued in the trillions of dollars) and that about 690,000 Jewish families from Arab countries were re-settled in Israel’s LIBERATED TERRITORY.
Arabs are the occupiers; they have 21 Arab States that were granted to them (5 million square miles) after WWI by the same powers that granted the State of Israel (75,000 square miles).
There is no other term for Jewish villages and towns in Judea and Samaria and East Jerusalem than Liberated Jewish Territories since times immemorial.
To negate any claim of Arab ownership of the land, Read and study the Ottoman Empire land title. It states that approximately 92% of the land was owned by the government, some of it was leased to the Arab population as sharecroppers, not owners.
The balance 8% was owned by Arab land barons who sold the land at premium prices to the Jews.
Here is the incredible testimony of The Mufti of Jerusalem on January 12, 1937 when he documents in testimony for the British Peel Commission that the Jews did not steal land from the Arab Palestinians but by the year of 1920, the time of the “British Occupation” as trustee for the Jews, meaning the British Palestine Mandate, the Jewish people had already purchased 1,500,000 dunams of land in the Land of Israel which is 375,000 acres of desolate and swamp land.
The Mufti also testified that the land was not bought by “forcibly acquired-compulsory acquisition of land”. That kind of ruling behavior was the action of the Ottoman rulers and not the Jews. Also the Mufti admitted that any evictions done were by absentee landlords who chose to sell “land over the heads of their tenants, who then were forcibly evicted”, and that the majority of these tenants were not Palestinians but Lebanese. Any land title granted by the British to the Arabs was and is illegal and therefore it is null and void.
It is a common practice by the s to obfuscate, distort, outright fabrication and misrepresent facts to their benefit, it is even permitted under their religion, in order to accomplish their goals.
It is tine for a separation between the Jews and the Arabs who terrorize and commit violence.
Israel has been extremely generous in its concessions and appeasement to the Arabs since 1948. It only added to more terror and violence and the deaths of thousands of Jews, who have suffered enough in the Diaspora for thousands of years.

The Consequences of Appeasement
ReplyDeleteThe decisions made by the government of Israel since The six day war of 1967 leading up to Gaza war with Hamas July 2014, as well as those of the first ten months or so after the turnover of Gaza in 2004 began, have dumbfounded historians ever since.
The PA leader makes a speech in front of the UN and announces that the Oslo Accord is no longer applicable and that he is not going to abide by its terms. Thereafter, Arab terror and violence, car ramming, knifing, stone throwing and every conceivable method of disturbance and destabilization is being applied.
The current Arab terror and violence facing the people of Israel, and the Arab claim to forbid Jews from Temple Mount, is a product of restraint to Arab violence and the concern what world reaction would be, while sacrificing Jewish lives, and diminishing the safety and security of Israel and its people.
The appeasement of Israel to the Arabs-Palestinians, in particular, has been so often held up as an example of how not to deal with a rising terrorism and violence that it has become a stereotype.
Had Israel stood its ground and responded to terrorism or any violence with utmost force. Israel would not be facing today’s crisis.
As many have said – appeasement, concessions and lack of proper response to terrorism is detrimental to Israel its people and the Jewish people worldwide.
Israel under International Law has the right to build and live in Judea and Samaria and any other territory formerly within the boundary of Palestine. As decried by the San Remo agreement, confirmed by the treaty of Sevres and Lausanne; of which terms are survived in perpetuity. Any deviation or prohibition is outright discrimination against Israel and the Jewish people. As past history has proven, concessions by Israel have only increased violence and terrorism.
Israel is an independent democratic sovereign country and it must operate and run the country without being dictated how to run the country and outside interference, just like the U.S. and other countries.
It is time for Israel to respond with extreme force to quell terrorism, violence and rioting – no holds barred, zero tolerance.
Israel should inform all Arab leaders in greater Israel that if terror and violence continues they will hold them responsible and they will bear the consequences.
What the Arabs could not win in loosing four major wars against Israel, they won in playing the peace game. The Arabs all the while are building up arsenals and educating their children to hate, commit terror and violence and to destroy Israel. While enriching; their own personal pockets with the billions contributed by the world to help the impoverished Arab-Palestinian. The G7 and other nations want Arab Oil and for that, they will do anything! The end result ignoring reality will destroy them also.
What a scheme – and the gullible delusional world is buying it hook line and sinker.
When will the World at large learn that the Arab-s cannot be trusted; they consider all non-believers as their enemies. I hope the world takes of the blinders, before the Arab-s take over Europe and than the United States and Canada, etc.
I wonder, how come the nations of the world; No one is questioning the 21 Arab States established after WWI with over 5 million square miles of territory, including Jordan's sovereignty, a country that never existed in history before WWI and which was established in violation of international law and treaties, on land originally allocated to the Jewish people in 1920, which included all of Palestine’s 75,000 square miles of which 80% was illegally reallocated to Arab Jordan. If you question Israel's rights and territory you might as well question the sovereignty and territory of the other 21 Arab States set up at the same time by the same Supreme Allied Powers that set up the Jewish State.

Worldwide alert: the real mission.
ReplyDeleteIsrael has no choice but to continue to fight for its survival. Thus, it is time for a Clarion Call unifying all Israelis on a national scale, as well as all Jews worldwide.
I have long stated the real Arab mission in Israel is NOT about alleged “occupied” land. Rather, the real Arab mission is the extermination of Israel as a nation; the extermination of Judaism as a religion; and the genocide of Israelis and their culture. The reason for such an Arab mission has been repeatedly stated by their leaders: their belief they “have the right to kill all non believers”.
Posit the following, what if there was no “Holy Land” as part of modern day Israel? Would the Arab s still demand land which they have no legal right to claim? Would they still use terroristic tactics to kill innocent Israeli Jews wishing for a peaceful co-existence? The irrefutable answer, as proven by their unfounded rhetoric and actions is an emphatic YES. The reality is; the Arab s use of “contested land rights” is a thinly disguised façade to hide their true mission: the genocide of Jews and extermination of Israel at any cost.
History proves the Arab countries terrorized and expelled over a million Jewish families and their children. In so doing the Arab countries confiscated all Jewish assets, businesses, homes and real estate totaling over 120,000 sq. km. or 75,000 sq. miles, (which is 6 times the size of Israel), and valued in the trillions of dollars. The reason they were expelled, hatred and greed. Those expelled Jewish families were resettled in Israel and account for over half the population of Israel today.
Those in power in the Arab-Palestinian leadership have rejected again and again any and all attempts to recognize Israel’s right to exist. Although sometimes occupied, there has been a Jewish Nation in the land of Israel for the past 4000 years. In fact, the Jews are the ONLY surviving indigenous people to Israel. Yet, even though history proves there has never been an Arab-Palestinian Nation, the Arab s falsely claim they have a right to Israel. Said false claim exposes the true mission of the Arab s: extermination of Israel and the genocide of Jews.
An examination of what Arabs teach their children further exposes their true mission. They continue to teach their children to hate, enslave, terrorize and kill Jews, and all non-believers by any means possible. Ironically, the world idly sits by allowing such hatred and violence to exist and expand thinking it is only an Israeli problem (Déjà vu Hitler and Nazism).
The mission in the world is not only Israel but the rest of the world, and all “infidel non-believers”. Though there are constant instances of terroristic acts throughout the world which support the above statement, we need not consider any other than September 11, 2001. On 9/11 Arab terrorists killed close to 3,000 innocent people, including children in America. It is time for the world to accept the fact the Arab mission of worldwide genocide of ALL non-s, and even some s, will continue until education and humanity replaces such hatred, or eliminates it altogether.
ReplyDeleteHistory proves Arab s have killed over 500 million people since its inception 1500 years ago. Moreover, the number of deaths by Arab s continues to grow every day. They have colonized the Middle East over the years. Now they are slowly but surely taking over Europe. Rest assured if we are not careful to protect ourselves, they will attempt to take over the United States and all other countries. Then we the non-believers and our children will be forced to kneel before a sword wielding Arab , having committed no other crime than having a different religious belief.
It is time for the world to wake up and face stark reality: wherever there are Arab s there is hatred fueled conflict and terrorism in an ongoing mission of genocide.
I hope Israel understands it cannot concede to any of the Arab demands; or give up any more land. To do so will only weaken Israel, making it more vulnerable and endangering the safety and security of its citizens. Israel must retract all previous concessions since the Arab s have not abided by any of the agreements. It is time to expose the real mission of the Arab s: worldwide genocide.

THE PALESTINIAN PROBLEM: A REAL SOLUTION
ReplyDeleteThe Palestinians have nothing to lose but their chains -- in which their leaders have imprisoned them.
From Israel’s point of view, the "two-state/land for peace" solution to the Palestinian conflict has proven to be a long, drawn out failure that should have been abandoned long ago. It is only because many prominent political figures have foolishly mortgaged their personal and professional prestige in the name of this unworkable position that it manages to remain a live option – to the grave detriment of Israelis and Palestinians alike.
Any dispassionate evaluation of the events of the past two decades invariably leads one to accept the following conclusion: that the Palestinians seem far more focused on annulling Jewish political independence than attaining Palestinian political independence. That is to say, Palestinians are far more committed to the deconstruction of the Jewish State than to construction of a Palestinian one.
However, no matter how convincingly one can show that the Palestinians as a national entity have failed to create their own national destiny, a stark reality remains: there are hundreds of thousands of essentially disenfranchised Palestinian families residing both in Israeli territory and in the wider Arab world.
Addressing this situation requires a comprehensive solution comprised of three constituent elements, all eminently consistent with liberal political doctrine. Two involve eliminating discriminatory practices against the Palestinians as refugees and as residents in Arab countries. The third involves facilitating free choice for individual Palestinians to determine their own future.
If the Arabs cannot live in peace with the Jews in Greater Israel, the only solution is to evict them to Jordan or Gaza. Enough is enough. It's time for Israel to take off the gloves and take the necessary steps to protect the Jewish people in Israel. One of the fundamental obligations of the government is to protect its citizens at all costs.
ReplyDeleteIsrael must adopt a policy of zero tolerance. By pacifying the Arabs and the world nations, Israel's government is failing to take care of the Jewish people. It should not be necessary to remind the government that the Jewish people have suffered for over 2000 years at the hands of other people or nations who terrorized the Jewish people in Diaspora.
Now the Jews in their own country must be protected at all costs. Israel has the power, means and resources to stop the ghetto mentality. Israel's government must overcome the leftist attitude and their delusional mentality, Israel must hit hard all terrorists and perpetrators of violence with a no reprieve, "damn the torpedoes" policy.
If the current government cannot protect its people, its time to change the government. Less talk and more action and results.
Anyone who promotes terror and violence is as guilty as the perpetrators and must be punished and not ignored.
Israel should send troops to arrest Abbas for inciting violence. He is not above the law.
Any person or group who incites violence against the Jewish people must be declared an enemy of Israel and treated as such.

PS
When Muslims anywhere preach hate and violence, they must be shutdown immediately. The cover of religion as a front must be exposed.
The Muslims go to new countries and instead of abiding by the law, they promote violence and try to force the country to change the laws to the Muslim edict and force the rest of the nation to abide by the Muslim religion.
The Temple Mount in Jerusalem is Jewish territory for over two millennium and it has been since prior to the building of the two Jewish temples.

These post-Oslo declarations of intent irrefutably underscore that the ultimate objective of Israel’s then much lauded “peace partner” had deviated little from his pre-Oslo malevolence encapsulated in Arafat’s 1980 proclamation: “Peace for us means the destruction of Israel. We are preparing for an all-out war, a war which will last for generations.”
Yet, incredibly, despite this, the Israeli government continued to collaborate, with perverse eagerness, in brewing the noxious swill of deceit and deception, deliberately and undisguisedly designed to bring about the country’s demise.
It should be recalled that until the early ’90s, the idea of supporting a Palestinian state was shunned by virtually all the Zionist political factions in the country as a near-treasonous anathema, with any contacts with Arafat’s PLO an offense punishable by law.
What then induced this breathtaking metamorphosis that converted the detested into the desirable, and the catastrophic collapse of national will that made the vehemently abhorred into the virtually adored? It certainly was not military inferiority that compelled Israeli capitulation and coerced it to accept the once unacceptable; to legitimize the once delegitimized, and politically sanitize the once politically unsanitary.
It was not predominance of Arab martial might that imposed upon Israel to allow armed Arab militias to deploy adjacent to the nation’s capital and within mortar range of its parliament; to permit the influx of hordes of brutal Judeocidal thugs and their access to military grade explosives that turned Israeli streets, cafes and buses into killing fields.
ReplyDeleteNo, all this was the result of intellectual surrender to a concerted assault on the conceptual legitimacy of Jewish nationhood, which made that legitimacy conditional on the recognition of an inimically adversarial – and openly admitted, fictional – nationhood, that of the Palestinian Arabs.
Active complicity of Israeli establishment
So an absurd situation arose.
Perversely, with the active complicity of much of the Israeli intellectual establishment, the myth was born that the Jews had no absolute right to national sovereignty.
Paradoxically, according to this all-pervasive myth, this right and the ability to sustain it was now conditional. They would allegedly only become conceptually legitimate and practically feasible if the Jews deigned to make perilous concessions to accommodate the bogus demands of their implacable foes, the Palestinian Arabs, for national sovereignty, which the latter concede is nothing but a ruse to facilitate the termination of Jewish national sovereignty.
Clearly, to contend with such conceptual threats to the existence of the Jewish nation–state, an entirely different arsenal is required from that at the disposal of the IDF.
On the conceptual plane, the fight for Jewish sovereignty and a Jewish-nation state – and for legitimizing the demand for the minimal physical conditions to sustain them in the inhospitable real world, rather than in some cuddly Kumbaya delusional dream-world – requires mounting an intellectual counter-offensive.
It will be an uphill battle and will have to be fought on at least two fronts.
When the conceptual & the concrete converge
It will be uphill, because the myth of Palestinian nationhood has become an integral part of international political culture. Indeed, support for what will almost certainly become yet another homophobic, misogynistic Muslim majority tyranny has become the prerequisite of acceptance into allegedly bon-ton liberal society.
ReplyDeleteIt will have to be waged on two fronts because the struggle will not only be against the ignorance, envy and/or malice from sources abroad. It will also have to be waged on the domestic front, against those who insist, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary, that for Israel to be secure and prosperous, it must relinquish the highlands of Judea-Samaria, and expose itself to the possibility of facing the specter of an Islamist-jihadist entity, stretching from the Persian Gulf to the Jerusalem neighborhood of Gilo.
The preceding discussion graphically illustrates how the new conceptual and the concrete threats converge to reinforce the dangers facing the Jewish state, and its capacity to resist Arab attrition. For if Israel cannot withstand the conceptual assault on its hold over Judea-Samaria and feels compelled to relinquish it (or large portions thereof), it will have no ability to determine who will control it – as the Gaza precedent unequivocally demonstrates.
Likewise, as noted before, Israel has very limited ability to curb the concrete threat of the ascendancy of Islamist forces in Jordan.
Accordingly, were Israel to yield control of Judea-Samaria, it would be far from implausible that Israel would be confronted with the daunting prospect of a massive stretch of Islamist-ruled territory, abutting the coastal metropolis – with Judea-Samaria comprising a mega Gaza-like entity, having a front extending almost 500 km. instead of the barely 50 km. in Gaza.
Now imagine how much attrition that could wreak…
Marshaling the intellectual arsenal
I realize, of course, that some readers are chaffing at the bit for more “red-meat” operational prescriptions.
But almost a quarter-century of intellectual mismanagement cannot be corrected with a few pithy sound bites.
To repulse the conceptual threats bearing down on Israel and to generate the freedom of action to overcome the concrete ones, Israel needs to marshal a whole new arsenal of intellectual weaponry, which, subject to breaking news, will be the topic of next week’s column.

Into the fray: Preserving the Jewish nation-state
The predominance of Israel’s military prowess has little or no bearing on many of the emerging threats menacing the Jewish state today.
By Martin Sherman, JPOST
To question the Jewish people’s right to national existence and freedom, is… to deny to the Jewish people the right accorded to every other people on this globe…
– Chaim Herzog, (1918-1997) sixth president of Israel and Labor MK
Zionism is nothing more – but also nothing less – than the Jewish people’s sense of origin and destination in the land linked eternally with its name… The question is at what point Arab nationalism, with its prodigious glut of advantage, wealth and opportunity, will come to terms with the modest but equal rights of another Middle Eastern nation to pursue its life in security and peace.
– Abba Eban, (1915- 2002) foreign minister of Israel (Labor)
A number of learned scholars in academia have recently started to attack the very essence of Israel as a state that is both Jewish and democratic, or as the state of the Jewish people. This characterization, so they claim, is detrimental to the Arab population of Israel – to be more precise it undermines the basic right to equality of the Palestinians, who are Israeli citizens. It is difficult to contend, time and again, with this claim and explain, one more time, that the Jewish people have the right to their state, and just as is the case of any other nation-state, this does not imply discrimination against minorities in that state…
– Prof. Amnon Rubinstein, formerly education minister (Meretz), Yediot Aharonot, November 26, 2000
Modern Israel abounds with outward signs of power and prosperity. But don’t let the modern multi-level interchanges and soaring new high rises fool you. Don’t be misled by the booming haute couture boutiques and bustling gourmet restaurants. For despite this external display of success and strength, the fate of the Zionist project and the future of the Jewish nation-state have never been more imperiled.
Misplaced complacency
It is easy to be lulled into a false sense of security.
But this misplaced complacency is a deceptively tempting pitfall that must be avoided at all costs, for it is certain to have catastrophic consequences.
Frequently, one hears the ostensibly reassuring contention that Israel no longer faces any existential threat; that it has by far the strongest military in the region, (including rumors of scores of bombs in the basement); that its traditional enemies have been neutralized – by either peace agreements or internal disintegration.
Yet while this is all completely true – it is equally irrelevant.
For with the dissolution of central authority in Arab countries and the predominance of Israel’s military prowess has little or no bearing on many of the emerging threats menacing the Jewish state today.
Perversely, in some respects, they may even exacerbate them.
Thus on the one hand, the perception of military invincibility may generate a false sense of over-confidence and hubris, as it did before the Yom Kippur War of 1973, inducing it to lower its guard; on the other hand, the erosion of government control in Arab countries has spawned an array of uncontrolled, nonstate jihadist movements, undermining – and in several cases, overthrowing – any purportedly “moderate” Arab regimes, on which, prematurely/naively optimistic Israelis pinned much of their hopes for accomplishing peace, or at least, durable non-belligerence.
More ethereal, no less lethal
Many of the threats confronting the Jewish state are perhaps less clearly defined, and arguably less immediate, than those in the past. But although they may be more ethereal, they are no less real, and certainly no less lethal.
ReplyDeleteThe array of new threats can be coarsely categorized into two main types: conceptual and concrete.
These categories are not hermetically isolated from each other. Quite the opposite. They frequently interact – with fluctuations in one category exacerbating or attenuating the intensity in the other.
There is little that Israel can do to prevent the concrete threats from arising, but much it can do to avoid them becoming unmanageable. By contrast, there is a great deal that Israel can do to curtail and counteract the conceptual threats. Yet sadly, it has done virtually nothing in this regard – and consequently they are on the verge of spiraling out of control, stripping Israel of much of its ability to contain the emerging concrete ones.
For example, Israel can do little to prevent Syria (or large portions thereof) falling to Islamist radicals, whether of the Sunni variety (of al-Qaida or ISIS predilection) or of the Shia brand (of the Iranian-backed Hezbollah). Likewise, there is little it can do to prevent the regime in Jordan being taken over, or dominated, by some ISIS-like Islamo-mutation.
But in either case, it makes a huge difference whether or not the threats inherent in these events are confronted with the Golan Heights and the highlands of Judea Samaria under Israeli control.
However, whether or not Israel maintains or relinquishes control over these territories depends on how effectively it contends with the burgeoning threats of the conceptual type.
Resisting attrition; not repulsing invasion
It is of course correct that, for perhaps four decades, Israel has not faced a tangible threat of large-scale invasion by conventional Arab forces, as in 1948, 1967 and 1973 when it had to repulse Arab attempts (or preempt Arab designs) to overrun the country, or at least large portions of it.
Today, however, with the changing nature of Arab enmity, the major existential challenge to Israel’s existence as the Jewish nation-state is no longer repulsing invasion, but resisting attrition.
The Arab stratagem is no longer the cataclysmic annihilation of the Jewish state, but the ongoing erosion of Jewish will to maintain the Jewish state, by making Jewish life in it unbearable – both physically and psychologically.
(While on the one hand, the nuclearization of Iran may reinstate the cataclysmic approach; on the other, it may “merely” provide a protective umbrella under which the attrition-oriented one can continue with greater intensity – and impunity.)
Perhaps one of the most explicit expressions of this attrition-oriented intent came from Yasser Arafat in Stockholm, in an address to Arab diplomats, barely a year after being awarded the Noble Peace Prize: “The PLO will now concentrate on splitting Israel psychologically into two camps… We plan to eliminate the State of Israel and establish a Palestinian state. We will make life unbearable for Jews by psychological warfare… I have no use for Jews. They are and remain Jews…”
This overt admission of malice, and Arafat’s no less candid confession in Johannesburg (May 1994) and Cairo (January 1995), that the Oslo Accords were no more than a temporary subterfuge to weaken Israel ahead of a future Arab offensive to obliterate it, should have removed any doubt as to what lay ahead.

The Law of Return is for The Jews and reciprocating equity by the Arabs.
ReplyDeleteThe Law of Return is for The Jews, the option to return to Greater Israel and The Arab-Palestinians to leave Greater Israel and return to the Arab countries they originated from. The Arab-Palestinians should move to the Million plus Jewish homes confiscated by the Arab countries from the expelled Jewish people and the 120,440 sq. km. of Real property the Arabs confiscated from the million plus Jewish families and their children expelled from Arab countries. That is the only viable alternative.
Face it and stop hallucinating, once and for all. There will never be an Arab-Palestinian State in Greater Israel West of the Jordan River (Judea and Samaria). Jerusalem the United Eternal Capital of the Jewish people.
Responding to arguments that million Jews expelled from Arab countries has no bearing on the Arabs who left Palestine or Arabs displaced from Jewish land and or formerly Ottoman government land has nothing to do with each other. The law of equity in not a one way street, it works both ways. The Arab nations that expelled the million Jewish families (who lived in the Arab countries for over 2500 years and owned 120,440 sq. km. of land, homes, businesses and personal assets valued in the trillions of dollars) are the ones supporting the Arab-Palestinians in demanding law of return and compensation. Those Arab countries are financing the Arab-Palestinians in their quest to eject the Jews a second time from their own ancestral homeland. The best and only solution is a population transfer.
YJ Draiman
P.S.
There was never an Arab-Palestinian State in Greater Israel and there will never be – face it.
The Ottoman land records of Palestine confirm that the local Arabs did not own land, they were sharecroppers. Over 90% of the land was owned by the government the balance was owned by absentee wealthy Arabs from Lebanon and some wealthy Arab families and the Mufti of Jerusalem, who sold it to the Jews at premium prices.
It is time to implement population transfer for all the Arabs who are unhappy under Israel’s government.
Those Arabs who create terror, violence, riot and attack Jews and anyone else. They could be relocated to the homes and the 120,440 sq. km. of land of the million Jewish families and their children, who were persecuted and expelled from Arab countries or Jordan.
